Appointed as deputy Master of the Supreme Court on 11th January 2018.
Aurelie Tamseul comes from the Island of Espiritu Santo.
She commenced her education in 1993 in the French based system up to finishing her high school studies in 2008. That journey shifted when she entered the University of the South Pacific in 2009 and enrolled in the LLB program in 2010. She graduated in 2013 with an LLB degree and proceeded to obtain her Professional Diploma in Legal Practice in 2014. In 2017, she obtained a Professional Diploma in Legislative Drafting.
Prior to joining the Judiciary, Ms. Tamseul worked with Westpac (Vanuatu) Banking Corporation Limited as a Loan Support Officer from 2015 to 2016 and from 2016 to 2017 as Bank South Pacific’s Compliance Manager primarily responsible for overseeing all money laundering standards under the legislation were upheld.
Ms. Tamseul was appointed Deputy Master of the Supreme Court on the 11th January, 2018 and holds that position to date.
